With more than 20 years ministry experience, Mike is now the senior pastor at Destiny Church in Broken Arrow, OK. A church that was once written off by many has become a fast growing church of more than 1,500 members.

As a native to the area, Mike grew up at Grace Church and served under Pastor Bob Yandian. He will tell you, “The police brought me to church, and the love I received from my pastor and the staff kept me there.” His first experience with Grace Church was the result of having to serve court-ordered community service for traffic violations. From there he volunteered as he attended college and would later attend Grace School of Ministry. Mike’s 17 years on staff started as a janitor, then as a teacher in the Christian school, and eventually he served as youth pastor for more than a decade. He still refers to Bob Yandian as, “my pastor.”

In 2005, Mike and his family moved to Destiny Church to serve as associate pastor where Mike says, “All hell broke loose!” Six months later, he became senior pastor. Through faithfulness and love for God, Mike and his wife Renae, two children, Mikey and Jayme, have seen the miraculous hand of God at work in the lives of the people they serve at Destiny – a church whose vision is “Loving people...”
